Area Attractions

A Room With A View boasts easy access to birding, hiking and boating. 4 miles from Lake Patagonia state park, you can swim, rent boats, take pontoon birding tours and fish. Hiking, biking and bird watching are popular pastimes, as well as ghost-town exploration within a few miles.

Birding guests have been ecstatic to see the Elegant Trogon at Lake Patagonia. Fishing at the lake includes Bass, Trout, Blue Gill, Sunfish and Catfish. There is also a beach area for swimming. Water skiing and jet skiing are permitted on week days. The Sonoita Creek Bird Preserve is 15 minutes away and additional bird preserves are just an hour away in the San Pedro Valley.

What a wonderful stay my friend Ellayne and I had at A Room with a View. The beauty of the area is breathtaking. I was thrilled to have visits with the owners dogs too. Birding was out of this world. When it was time to leave, I just did not want to go. Made reservations for next October for the Patagonia Fall Festival. Plan on other stays throughout the year too! It is a piece of Heaven at A Room with a View.
